Fraternidad-Muprespa organizes a conference on ankle and knee injuries in Palma, focused on IT
Last Thursday, the headquarters of the Fraternidad-Muprespa healthcare center in Palma de Mallorca hosted a conference on clinical examination in ankle and knee injuries focused on TR in primary care. The doctor Joaquin Garcia, Head of the Ibsalut Medical Inspection Department, in charge of opening the day, stressed the importance of the work carried out by all the institutions involved in IT management (Medical Inspection, primary care, INSS and Mutual Insurance) as well as the relevance of training and days like the one held, to promote not only training but also exchange between professionals.
After these words the doctor Javier Sainz He presented aspects related to the anatomy and examination of both joints, highlighting the main pathologies as well as the most common treatments applied today. For his part, the doctor José Ignacio Mora explained how Fraternidad-Muprespa acts in relation to the degrees of functionality of the INSS Guides and giving a series of guidelines regarding average durations. Likewise, it was proposed to establish appropriate channels for the necessary exchange of information to occur so that we can achieve the best possible situation with regard to the management of the TR and therefore the treatment of the patient himself.
After each of the presentations, the workshops began, led by Dr. Sainz, in exploration of both the ankle and the knee, generating great expectation and intervention of those present both in the examination and in the presentation of doubts that appear at the time of caring for the patient. Finally, the Provincial Director of Fraternidad in the Balearic Islands,Marian Sbert, closed the day, which had a large influx of people, very interested in the topic to be discussed.
