Catholic Schools meet in an event at the Hospital Fraternidad-Muprespa Havana

Next the doctor José Ignacio Mora Blanco, director of the Care Coordination and IT Control Center of Fraternidad-Muprespa, has started the information session talking about the legislative evolution of the assessment of occupational risk during pregnancy, protected situation, beneficiaries and requirements that must be met to receive the benefit. Subsequently, he explained the peculiarities of this, its beginning and end, and the documentation necessary for its processing. Finally, he has detailed the peculiarities of the second edition of the “Guide to help assess occupational risk during pregnancy”, edited by the National Institute of Social Security, as a result of the conclusions of the working group formed by medical inspectors from the INSS, doctors from the nineteen Mutual Insurance Companies Collaborating with Social Security and specialists in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the SEGO.
Subsequently, Dr. Fernando Mena Babiano, deputy director of the Mutual Care Coordination and IT Control Center, gave way to the second part of the session, explaining the reasons for the change with respect to the previous edition of the document, delving into the detailed analysis of the new guide around the risks that certain jobs for female workers entail, such as physical, chemical, biological risks and peculiar working conditions.
To conclude Esteban Mate de Miguel, Deputy Director General of Management of the Entity, thanked everyone present for their attendance, and invited them to visit the new Hospital facilities.
