Risks related to ICTs focus a day with the participation of Fraternidad-Muprespa

The Occupational Risk Prevention technician of the Mutua in Asturias,Jose Beltran He opened the session with a presentation focused on the characteristics and possibilities offered by new technologies, responsible for important changes at a social and work level. From these changes, new risks have emerged, against which the worker must be prepared, among which are continuous learning (digital literacy), digital disconnection and “techno-stress”.

Another technician from the same Provincial management of Fraternidad-Muprespa,Ivan Fernandez, focused on the consequences that arise from the intensive use of new technologies under the title “New technologies, a new challenge for our health.” In his intervention he analyzed the behavioral changes, at a physical and psychological level, that these technologies have caused in the population. It ended with a description of the activities necessary to achieve a healthy life, such as physical activity or empathy in the responsible use of ICTs.

The day ended with the intervention of Pedro J. Aguado, Police Inspector and Delegate of Citizen Participation, with the presentation “Addictions, dependencies and crimes associated with the use of ICTs.” In his speech, he reviewed the behaviors that can lead to criminal behavior and detailed what crimes are usually committed in relation to new technologies, warning of the risks for possible victims and the consequences for offenders.
