Within the pre-conference session of the Spanish Society of Health and Safety at Work (SESST) 2019, the national and international awards for Occupational Health and Risk Prevention were awarded, including the one awarded to the professional career of Natalia Fdez. Laviada, deputy general director of Prevention, Quality and Communication of Fraternidad-Muprespa.

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security No. 275, participated on June 26 in the pre-congress event organized by the Spanish Society for Health and Safety at Work, under the title: “Business humanism and the digital era: advances and new approaches.”

The event brought together great personalities from the preventive world.

The inaugural conferences were given by Hans-Horst Konkolewshy“The new concepts of prevention in the digital economy” and Antonio Moreno“Prevention of occupational risks and business humanism.”

The debate table on culture and occupational health has been made up of Amalio Sanchez, director of the Cantabrian Institute of Safety and Health at Work,Francisco Marquis, director of the National Institute of Safety and Health at Work, O.A.M.P.,Miryam Hernandez, director of the Asturian Institute for Occupational Risk Prevention (IAPRL),Susana Moreneo, Head of the Endocrinology and Nutrition service at the Gregorio Marañón University General Hospital in Madrid and Laura Solana, director of Psychology and trainer at ITAE Empresas.

The panel of experts who spoke about aging was made up of Mª Jesús Terradillos, director of the National School of Occupational Medicine of the Carlos III Health Institute,Rafael Ruiz, president of the General Council of Health and Safety at Work Professionals (CGPSST),Antonio Diaz, Vice President of the Association of Occupational Prevention Services (AESPLA) and on behalf of Fraternidad-Muprespa has participated Natalia Fdez. Laviada with the presentation “Active aging, new occupational health challenge, between tradition and renewal”

The president of the Spanish Society for Health and Safety at Work (SESST),Benilde Serrano has presented the IX International Congress of Occupational Health and Prevention.

Finally, the national and international awards for occupational health and risk prevention have been awarded.

Natalia Fdez. Laviada has received the SESST 2019 award for her career“as a professional who in a short time has taken the communication of prevention and occupational safety to all corners and levels, moving the word HEALTH in forums, conferences, congresses and events, seeking the dissemination of preventive culture tirelessly.”
