Fraternidad-Muprespa delivers more than 5.4 million euros to 1,269 mutual companies in Madrid

Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, has held an event to present the diplomas accrediting the 2016 and 2017 Bonus to companies in Madrid. In this way, these entities are recognized for having effectively contributed to the reduction of accidents. A total of 1,269 companies have received 5,417,454.86 euros.  

This is the incentive granted by the General Directorate of Social Security Regulation to entities that have effectively contributed to the reduction of accidents through actions to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases.

Carmen Rueda, provincial director of Madrid, welcomed the event, which took place in the assembly hall of the Fraternidad-Muprespa Havana Hospital and was attended by representatives of 72 companies. Subsequently Francisco Javier Pinilla, director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and Mar Morales, director of the Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture of Fraternidad-Muprespa, presented the diplomas to the representatives of the mutual companies. 

At the end of the event, Mar Morales thanked the companies for their commitment to prevention and stressed the importance of carrying out preventive activities to contain accidents in their organizations. He also recalled that, unless there is a regulatory change, the incentive will be suspended for 2019 due to a reduction in accidents.

Among the recognized companies is Fraternidad-Muprespa itself.Anthony of Cos, director of the Mutua's own Prevention Service, was responsible for collecting the diploma.
