Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in the 9th International Congress of Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology

Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutua Colaboradora con la Seguridad Social, participó en el 9º Congreso Internacional de Ergonomía y Psicosociología Aplicada, que tuvo lugar en el espacio cultural de la Universidad Laboral de Gijón y fue clausurado en el Museo de la Minería de Asturias. The Congress was held on September 19, 20 and 21. 

The opening day was attended by the Councilor for Innovation of the Government of the Principality of Asturias,Enrique Fernandez, the director of the INSH,Javier Pinilla, the director of the Asturian Institute for Occupational Risk Prevention,Myriam Hernandez, and the president of the Spanish Ergonomics Association,Javier Llaneza. Nearly 300 professionals in this field attended the event, which became a space for reflection.

On the first day, a work workshop took place where Ana Fernandez, director of the Fraternidad-Muprespa delegation in Gijón, together with Helena Rodriguez y Peace Martin, director of the Occupational Health Service and director of the IAPRL Planning Area, respectively. The three were part of the INGEPRE project working group and for more than four hours they presented and debated with more than 40 participants about the integration of the gender perspective in risk prevention.

On the 20th,Mar Morales, director of Prevention and Development of Health Culture of the Mutua, moderated the table “Fatigue of many, consolation of fools.” In it they presented their points of view on the physical and mental fatigue of workers. The participants were  Daniel Rivera, Product Manager of Ergonomics at Iturri,Elvira Planas, coordinator of the XPROTX Ergonomics Laboratoryb01a8bc4XPROTX, and Bertha Quintero, from Human Factor in BQA. 
 
On the last day of the Congress, the presentation of Natalia Fdez. Laviada, Deputy Director General of Prevention, Quality and Communication of Fraternidad-Muprespa. With the title “The importance of the emotional in the psychosocial”, Fdez. "If we live with balance we are dedicating quality time to each area. Javier Llaneza, president of the National Ergonomics Association, together with the mayor of Langreo and the organizers of the Congress, concluded the event, noting that ergonomics arrived in Asturias with the CECA and it was fair to recognize the contribution of coal mining forty years later.
