Bonus recognition for companies in Huesca and Zaragoza so that "your security does not hang by a thread"
Under this literal motto, an event was held last Friday, October 4, at the Fraternidad-Muprespa facilities in Zaragoza, to recognize companies from Huesca and Zaragoza that were worthy of the “bonus” incentive for their contribution to the reduction of workplace accidents during 2017.
After the welcome,Jose Luis Fernandez, prevention technician, told the attendees that Fraternidad-Muprespa returned more than 12.5 million euros to almost 8,000 associated companies. In Aragon, a total of 92 Mutual companies added a refund that exceeded 84,000 euros.
At the national level, Social Security allocated 155.2 million euros to more than 123,000 companies that in 2017 contributed especially to the reduction and prevention of workplace accidents. This incentive is financed from the Social Security Professional Contingencies Fund.
To liven up the delivery of the diplomas, which were hanging from a thread and a balloon, the award-winning attendees themselves named the next recognized company, while briefly describing its activity. Then, between laughter and nerves, the representatives of each company looked for their diploma suspended in the air and, so “that their safety would not continue to hang by a thread,” they cut the string that held it to the balloon.
The meeting closed Eva Ramon, provincial director of Huesca and Zaragoza of Fraternidad-Muprespa, thanking the company representatives for their efforts to reduce accidents.
