Fraternidad-Muprespa Málaga participates in a conference on hygiene risks in the agri-food sector
Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutua Colaboradora con la Seguridad Social, participó el pasado viernes 25 de octubre, en la Semana Europea de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo con la celebración de una jornada técnica en el Centro de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales de Málaga sobre “Hygienic Risk in the agri-food sector: Bakeries, Pastry Shops and Oil Mills.”
Jesus Gonzalez, director of the Occupational Risk Prevention Center of Malaga, opened the day, thanked those present for their attendance and thanked Fraternidad-Muprespa, once again, for its participation in this week.
González gave way to Jose Manuel Crespo, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Malaga, who explained the powers of the Mutual Collaborators with Social Security and especially the work in preventive matters. He also thanked those present for their attendance, as well as the CPRL for the opportunity provided to collaborate in the Conference.
Later, entering the presentations,Luis Angel Merlo, senior Occupational Risk Prevention technician at Fraternidad-Muprespa, focused his presentation on what is known as baker's asthma, with the presentation “Flour powder in the bakery and pastry sector”. It is one of the most forgotten occupational diseases and that is why he explained to those present the measures to be carried out to avoid the risk derived from exposure to flour inhalation.
On the other hand,Rafael Delgado, Senior Occupational Risk Prevention Technician at the Mutua, delved into the world of risk prevention in oil mills, with his presentation “Occupational diseases in oil mills” highlighting the main risks to take into account in this sector, such as physical agents related to noise and vibrations.
Finally, before the closing, led by Jesús González, an interesting debate was opened where attendees were able to resolve their doubts with the speakers of the day.
