Fraternidad-Muprespa Ávila celebrates a day on benefits for occupational risk during pregnancy

The headquarters of the Provincial Directorate of Royal Decree 295/2009 defined the mechanisms for obtaining this benefit. The criteria for assessing whether occupational risks affected pregnancy or breastfeeding, and therefore the weeks at which benefits begin, have been generally based on the use of the guide prepared by the Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics. 

In December of last year, the new guide was published, in which not only the Spanish Society of Gynecology, but also the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) and AMAT (Association of Mutual Insurance Companies) participated, with the aim of achieving a guide of broad consensus. The event, which was attended by the President, the Vice President and the Secretary of the College of Social Graduates of Ávila, served to explain these developments.
