Fraternidad-Muprespa and the International Day of Women and Girls in Science
Fraternidad-Muprespajoins the initiative 11F which has been celebrating for five years the international day of women and girls in science, forraise awareness and publicly demand greater participation and progress of women and girls in science.
Historically, women have accessed scientific careers in a lower proportion than men, a circumstance that remains the case except in careers related to health, in which the proportion is currently reversed.
The different areas of action in which a mutual collaborator with Social Security such as Fraternidad-Muprespa works are occupied by career profiles in science and health. This is the case with health, occupational risk prevention, or technology, among others. That is why we want to give greater visibility to women who have chosen science careers and demonstrate their professionalism in their daily lives.
The Mutual has participated together with the Biomechanics Institute of Valencia, entity that is dedicated to the study of the behavior of the human body and its relationship with the products, environments and services that people use, in a video where they have participated Natalia Fdez. Laviada, deputy director general of Prevention, Quality and Communication, and doctor Mar Sanchez, rehabilitation doctor at the functional assessment unit, along with other women, professionals linked to entities that collaborate in IBV projects.
Fraternidad-Muprespamaintains its commitment to equality in its III Equality Plan, where the commitment of the Mutua management to equal treatment and opportunities between women and men is renewed.
