Fraternidad-Muprespa attends a debate on artificial intelligence organized by Expansión
Fraternidad-Muprespa participated last May 12 in the table on "Inclusion and language barrier in parliamentary meetings, AI for transparency and citizen participation" organized by Expansión and held at the Fira de Barcelona. This is a space for debate included within the activities of ISE 2022 (Integrated Systems Europe), a meeting on technology with experts from more than 140 countries.
On behalf of the Mutual Sergi Frontons, director of the Department of Development, attended the meeting to comment on aspects related to public organizations and artificial intelligence (AI) or how the gap between available technologies and those applied by the Public Administration can be reduced.
When the debate focused on intelligent AI solutions in the healthcare field, and specifically in clinical diagnosis, Frontons assured that “the speed and quality of decisions is essential.” "Traditionally, this has been explained with natural language; now, with the coding system, the catalog of pathologies is very exhaustive and with fewer errors," he highlighted.
Together with Frontons in the event moderated by David Casals, Expansión journalist, were present Gabriel Anzaldi, Director of Scientific and Technological Development at Eurecat (Technological Center of Catalonia),Daniel Santanach, Coordinator of the AI Strategy of the Digital Policies Secretariat of Catalonia, andEnrico Giannotti, Director of CEDAT85.
