Fraternidad-Muprespa day with the CPRL of Almería

Fraternidad-Muprespa  and the Occupational Risk Prevention Center of the Junta de Andalucía in Almería, in collaboration with COEXPHAL, carried out on November 22 in the Butterfly House, a historic building in the capital Almeria, an information day on handling and handling of loads and musculoskeletal disorders.

The presentation corresponded to Mr. Amós García Hueso, Territorial delegate of Employment, Business and Self-Employment in Almería, who reminded attendees of the importance of preventing occupational risks in workplaces as a way main to achieve safe and healthy work environments, emphasizing the high incidence of musculoskeletal disorders in occupational accidents registered in the province, mainly in the fruit and vegetable sector.

Matilde Góngora Martínez, Provincial Director of the Mutual Society in Almería, gave way to the first presentation: "Musculoskeletal disorders related to work activity" given by María Trinidad Peláez Álvarez, physiotherapist at the Mutua in Almería, who focused his presentation on the consequences that our body suffers from the bad body postures that are sometimes adopted in the workplace and at home and how through preventive measures of postural hygiene, sleeping habits, proper diet and exercise, we can prevent them and improve our well-being.

Finally, Ángeles Álvarez, responsible for the joint prevention service of COEXPHAL, addressed the same problem but focused from the technical/preventive point of view by companies and the possible hygienic and ergonomic measures that can be be adopted.

The day ended with requests and questions to the different speakers and members of the table, with the commitment to continue working for the safety and, above all, the health of the workers.
