Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in a conference on occupational road safety at the University of Murcia
Last February 14, Fraternidad-Muprespa participated with AESLEME and the organizing company TICARUM in the ODSesiones project that is taking place held at the University of Murcia, on this occasion to talk about Workplace Road Safety. Alejandro López-Briones, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in the Region of Murcia, carried out the introduction of the day and addressed the importance of preventing occupational traffic accidents due to their increase.
Later Jesús Manuel López, Mutual Prevention Consultant in Murcia, developed and contextualized the situation, tools and projects that a Mutual Collaborator of Social Security as Fraternidad-Muprespa carries out to try to raise awareness and create a preventive culture both in these and other topics of interest.
ODSesiones is the University of Murcia project to raise awareness and sensitize about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in addition to promoting them among the university community and Murcia society. It was born as a transversal initiative in 2019, uniting faculties, centers, NGOs, public administrations, companies, experts, researchers and students, in order to raise awareness about the situation in which we live and try to improve it through sustainable development.
From October 2022 to November 2025, a program of activities will be organized in the Region of Murcia to raise awareness about the 17 SDGs. Each month is dedicated to an SDG, and the faculties most related to its theme host conferences, artistic exhibitions, cultural and solidarity actions of impact and social transformation, in constant collaboration with NGOs and other sectors of society.
