8M: the IRSST organizes a day on directives and prevention and on occupational health and gender perspective
Coinciding with International Women's Day, the Regional Institute of Safety and Health at Work of Madrid organizes the technical conference “Skills of a Prevention Directive”, with which it aims to share the growth and professional career experiences of five women with influence at the managerial level who work in the field of occupational risk prevention management. These guests are professionals linked to such important entities as the Air Force, the companies TKE- Business Unit Airport Solutions, L'Oreal or Azucarera Iberia and the Regional Institute itself.
In this way they seek to make visible female references in the prevention profession who have contributed to the success of their organizations and can serve as inspiration to other women.
The day is celebrated on March 8 between ten and twelve in the morning, in a mixed format, both in person and online. In this link registration can be made.
Likewise, on the afternoon of March 8, the Institute will hold the videoconference “Occupational health and gender perspective” that aims to influence the spaces for intervention and the tools that can be implemented in the company hand in hand with the prevention plan and in accordance with the Equality Plan, taking advantage of the synergies of both instruments.
The appointment, between four and five in the afternoon, is aimed at representatives of companies, workers, prevention technicians and own and third-party prevention services who may be interested in integrated management of the gender perspective, a topic included in the Training Catalog ofl Regional Institute of Safety and Health at Work of the Community of Madrid.
