Fraternidad-Muprespa in Cádiz held on Wednesday, March 29, an online conference on the management and control of Temporary Disability processes in the first 365 days with the assistance of more than a hundred advisors and mutual companies in the province of Cádiz.

Miguel Ysasi Alfaro, provincial director of the Mutua in Cádiz, presented the day and its speaker, Ana Lorenzo Cárdenes, coordinator of the department of Economic Benefits, who carried out a detailed analysis of the new developments introduced by Royal Decree 1060/2022, which modifies Royal Decree 625/2014 of July 18, as well as Order ISM 2/2023, of December 27, which in turn modifies Order ESS/1187/2015 of June 15. _HTMLTAG12___ó Isabel Visquert Gil, director of the Jerez de la Frontera delegation, also participated in the event, giving voice to the questions asked by those attending.

Ana Lorenzo referred in her presentation to the issuance of medical reports and the novelty of the elimination of the worker's obligation to present the medical reports of sick leave, discharge or confirmation in their company within a given period, or mutual insurance company, if the employment relationship had ceased, so that it will be the public health service or, where appropriate, the mutual insurance company or the company collaborator who will send the data contained in the medical reports of sick leave, confirmation and discharge to the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), by electronic means, immediately, and, in any case, on the first business day following their issuance. In turn, the INSS will communicate to the companies the identifying data of a purely administrative nature related to the medical reports of discharge, confirmation and discharge issued by the doctors of the public health service or the mutual insurance company, referring to their workers, at most, on the first business day following their receipt at said Institute, for their knowledge and compliance. For its part, the company will not send the medical reports presented by the workers, and will only have to send the economic data in the sick leave reports to the INSS, once the information contained in the PMB of the SPS/MCSS has been received through the FIE/FIER. If the PMB does not exist in the database, the sending of data through the FDI/or the online Temporary Incapacity service will be rejected.

Ana Lorenzo also analyzed the modifications in the information that the company must send to the INSS through the Electronic Data Submission (RED) system, information that will be sent immediately and, in any case, within a maximum period of three business days from the receipt of the communication of the medical leave. And he also referred to the FIE File (INSS Companies file) and the FIER service as an alternative service to the FIE for those RED authorized persons who do not have the tool and for secondary users of a RED authorization. Finally, Ana Lorenzo referred to the modifications produced in the FDI/FRI messages for sending company information to the INSS, and encouraged all attendees to watch the video made by Social Security to learn how to download the INSS Company file to know the information on the withdrawal, confirmation and registration reports of a worker's IT process, starting April 1.

After the presentation, the time for questions posed by the advisors began, which was followed by the closing and words of gratitude from Miguel Ysasi to all attendees for their interest and participation.
