Iván Fernández, prevention consultant at work, quality, environment and computer security.

In the conference, with the title The management of psychosocial risks in the environment labor”, Fernández shared key tools to carry out the risk assessment effectively. In an environment in continuous evolution and subject to profound changes influenced by the digital evolution of work and relational habits, we must face new risks such as vamping (excessive use of electronic devices just before going to sleep or in the morning), nomophobia (irrational fear of being without a cell phone) or kummerspeck (gaining weight by eating impulsively due to emotional reasons).

Preventing situations of this type from affecting workers at work involves identifying the most relevant psychosocial risks in current environments, evaluating and measuring psychosocial risks within each organization, adapting preventive activities to address new challenges, improving occupational health and safety in digital and mobile environments and establishing effective strategies for the prevention and promotion of mental health at work, as described.

The event, which was broadcast simultaneously in Spain, Chile, Colombia and Mexico, brought together more than 2,000 people.
