Electronic services channel for business procedures with the INSS (Social Security)
The National Social Security Institute (INSS) offers companies a series of services through its telematic channel, aimed at streamlining procedures and resolving the corresponding issues.
These services are available through the "TU SOCIAL SECURITY" channel and allow companies to make requests for retirement benefits, birth and child care on behalf of their employees. In addition, the option is provided to request discharge from the health care for the newborn. Likewise, it is possible to carry out retirement simulations to know the ordinary retirement age and the estimated pension amount, and even simulate other available options, such as the effects of early or delayed retirement.
These services offer an intuitive interface that facilitates the visualization of data and, by having predefined information on the worker, efficiently expedites the benefit application process, avoiding transcription errors and requests for additional information. Furthermore, thanks to the ability to establish connections with other government entities to obtain the necessary data, it results in a significant reduction in the processing and resolution times of files.
To access these services, it is necessary for the representative to have the digital certificate or permanent Cl@ve, and the consent of the represented person is required through a link sent by text message.
It is essential that the worker has their Social Security contact mobile phone number updated. This update can be carried out easily through the IMPORTAS portal on the website, accessing with an electronic certificate or permanent Cl@ve. It is also possible to do it without electronic certification in this link.
In the downloads attached to this publication you will find more information about these services.
