Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in the ICASEL conference on communication in the field of prevention
With the objectives of promoting a preventive culture to reduce the accident rate of companies and promoting safe behavior by workers in the tasks to be carried out and achieving an effective integration of prevention, last Tuesday, September 24, the Canary Islands Institute of Occupational Safety ICASE L celebrated in Las Palmas the day “ Communication skills in PRL", with the participation of Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security 275.
At the presentation of the day,Carlos Macho, Provincial Director of the Mutua in Las Palmas, together with José Ramón Rodríguez Albertus, General Director of Labor of the Government of the Canary Islands, and the Director of ICASEL,Elirerto Galván Fernández.And two presentations were given by Bernardo Diaz Almeida, organizational engineer and technician on leave from ICASEL, and Rafael Delgado Goalkeeper, Mutual Prevention consultant.
With the title “ Passion for communication from PRL. Does it save lives?, Bernardo spoke about the importance of communication in the implementation of preventive culture in companies from an organizational point of view, highlighting the concept of communicating prevention in a positive way and making it clear that Organization = People, so if people communicate, so does the organization, and if people are emotional beings, so do organizations.
For his part, Delgado gave the practical workshop “Tools for effective communication in prevention”. Through group dynamics, role play and spontaneous interventions, the most basic concepts of interpersonal communication were developed as well as the most common errors when communicating in the world of ORP. Practical tools were also practiced to solve the most common communication errors and improve the participants' communication skills. The workshop concluded with a practical application on how to resolve interpersonal conflicts through effective communication.
