Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in the VIII Somajasa road safety conference
The Jaén Occupational Risk Prevention Center hosted last Thursday the VIII Conference on Road Safety organized by the Sociedad Mixta del Agua-Jaén S.A. (Somajasa), scheduled on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance for Victims of Traffic Accidents, and aimed at addressing, disseminating and raising awareness about the importance of distractions and the consumption of alcohol and drugs while driving.
The day included representatives of the Junta de Andalucía, General Directorate of Traffic, Somajasa's own Prevention service, Vitaly and Fraternidad-Muprespa. The Mutua was represented by its Provincial Director in Jaén, Ángel Gilabert, Víctor Cruz, deputy provincial director, and Elena Fernández, senior technical consultant for occupational risk prevention.
They presented and inaugurated the event José María Comas, director of HR, Diversity and SPP of Somajasa, and Juan Pedro Castillo director of the Jaén Occupational Risk Prevention Center.
Juan Diego Ramírez, Provincial head of the DGT of Jaén, described in his presentation "Road Safety. The objective of reducing traffic accidents", the entity's strategy aimed at improving the behavior and safety of users through training and road education.
“All people who participate in mobility are fully aware of their risks and act in accordance with the values of safe and sustainable mobility based on responsibility, respect for other people and knowledge and compliance with the rules, companies, society and administration,” he assured.
Manuel Berrios, senior occupational risk prevention technician of the SPP of Somajasa highlighted in his presentation “Signage in work on Public Roads” the importance of always have an action plan for the work to be carried out, to advance the objective of having safer, healthier and more sustainable mobility.
“Road Accident Rates in the Company” was the name of the presentation by José Manuel Zafra, Vitaly consultant, who reflected on awareness to eliminate risks naturally and not as an obligation, and insisted on the shared responsibility of the company, workers and administration, as a key to identifying risk factors.
