Change is not a matter of chance, but of commitment, awareness and action. Building a more just society doesn't happen overnight, but every day counts.

In 2007, the United Nations General Assembly declared February 20 as World Day of Social Justice. In 2025, the multilateral organization focuses on strengthening a just transition to a sustainable future, intertwining environmental sustainability with social justice, and advocates to ensure that workers, indigenous peoples and marginalized communities receive the support they need, through professional retraining, job creation and strong social protection measures.

One hundred years ago, the fight for social justice focused on guaranteeing fundamental rights: a decent working day, security at work and access to social protection. Over time, the needs have changed, but the essence is the same: guarantee the dignity of people and ensure fair working conditions.

This 2025 marks the centenary of a profession that has worked towards this evolution, Social Graduates. Its motto is, precisely, “Social Justice”, words that reflect its role as mediators in labor relations, seeking a balance between the rights of workers and business needs. And it's not just a motto. On November 25, 2008, the Social Justice Foundation was born, which works to train Social Graduates, promote studies and research, and protect the fundamental rights of the most vulnerable people.

This group has been fundamental in the implementation and development of labor and Social Security legislation in Spain, contributing to the creation of a more fair and equitable work environment with their work, which has positively impacted the lives of millions of workers, ensuring respect for their rights, the improvement of their working conditions and access to social protection.
