Fraternidad-Muprespa shares its vision of healthcare AI at Tres Cantos Health Week

Fraternidad-Muprespa participated last Tuesday, May 19, in one of the activities of Health Week 2026, organized by the Tres Cantos City Council with the aim of reinforcing well-being and quality of life through healthy habits and prevention. 

The day “ “AI applied to health and well-being”, included professionals and representatives of companies linked to health and technological innovation. The doctor Mario Arancon, Councilor for Public Health, opened the day and gave way to the intervention of  Herminia Lopez, president of Marca 3C, who gave way to the different speakers, who explained the transition from traditional medicine towards models powered by AI.

Alejandro Vaca Serrano, CEO of TerapIA, explained the potential of his own therapeutic AI tool, highlighting its ability to perform an "emotional x-ray" through the use of natural language, allowing stress, anxiety and loneliness to be proactively managed, and therefore improving the well-being of the environment.

Fraternidad-Muprespa was represented by those responsible for its Medical Management Center, Dr.José Ignacio Mora, director, and José Ignacio Sánchez,  deputy director, who showed the concept of “augmented healthcare” through the different uses of AI in the daily management of the entity.

Dr. Mora   he stressed “the Mutual Fund's commitment to efficiency, quality and innovation to fulfill its mission of restoring health and guaranteeing benefits". For his part,José Ignacio Sánchez  He contributed his technical vision from computer engineering applied to health management, linking the entity's trajectory with the technological evolution necessary to care for workers.

Cristina Ordóñez, Senior Manager of Health and Wellness at Repsol, presented the "SaludIA" project and detailed how the company has evolved from traditional models towards predictive and measurable systems, integrating technology and corporate culture to anticipate risks and personalize health management.

After the intervention of the mayor of Tres Cantos,Jesus Moreno, a round table moderated by the councilors was held,Belén García-Minguillán, municipal head of Economic Development and Innovation, and Dr. Arancón, in which they participated Jorge Garcia, co-founder of Foreomics,Conrado Nuñez, CEO of DS Legal Group, and frank Moreno, CEO&Chief Metaverse Officer at the Intrapreneurship Institute.

Their participations were articulated around two fundamental axes: the paradigm shift (From reactive to preventive), discussing data-based monitoring without violating privacy, the predictive capacity of AI and the operational advances of recent years, and ethics, implementation and human factor, addressing the regulatory challenges to integrate AI, ensuring that technology acts as support, maintaining human support as the central axis.

The day concluded with a prospective vision for 5-10 years, pointing out that AI will cause structural changes in the health and insurance ecosystem, requiring constant preparation of institutions and insurers to adapt to more preventive and personalized models.
