THE MUTUA Fraternidad-Muprespa HAS CARRIED OUT THE SOLIDARITY CAMPAIGN “RECYCLE YOUR GLASSES”

Among the activities carried out by Fraternidad-Muprespa In terms of Corporate Social Responsibility, at the end of 2011, it is worth highlighting a solidarity campaign under the name “Recycle your glasses”.  Such an everyday action in our lives, such as wearing glasses, is not possible in other parts of the world.

The objective was to obtain the greatest number of glasses, which they no longer used, among the Mutua workers and donate them to disadvantaged people. An act of solidarity that, without requiring effort or cost to the donor, becomes a substantial improvement for many people. This is stated by the World Health Organization, estimating that, “the quality of vision of a quarter of the world's population could improve thanks to the use of glasses.”

The 300 glasses obtained have been donated to the Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation, a non-profit organization that actively collaborates in solidarity actions.
