THE FIRST SESSION OF THE SOCIAL JURISDICTION CONFERENCES WAS HELD IN CÓRDOBA

On December 13, the First Session of the Social Jurisdiction conference was held, organized by Fraternidad-Muprespa and the Illustrious Official College of Social Graduates of Córdoba. As representatives of the Mutua Fraternidad-Muprespa were Mrs. Sonia Medrano Pascual, Territorial Director and Mrs. Inmaculada Rufián Peña, Provincial Director of Córdoba. It featured a brilliant presentation by Ilma. Mrs.Mrs. Ana María Orellano Cano, Magistrate-Judge of the Court of the Social Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia, based in Seville.

Authorities such as the Dean of the Faculty of Labor Sciences, the Hon. Mr. Don Federico Navarro Nieto, the Magistrate-Judge of the Social Court No. 4 of Córdoba, the Ilma. Ms. Rosario Flores Arias, the Magistrate-Judge of the Social Court No. 1 of Cordoba, the Hon. Mr. Don Juan de Dios Camacho Ortega, the Magistrate-Judge of the Social Court No. 2 of Córdoba, the Hon. Mr. Don Manuel Oteros Fernández, the Secretary of the Social Court No. 2 of Córdoba, Mrs. Victoria Alicia Alférez de la Rosa, the Head of the Provincial Labor and Social Security Inspection, Mr. Don Juan Pedro Gómez Jiménez, as well as Social Security Lawyers and a large number of Collegiate Social Graduates and students of the Faculty of Labor Sciences.

The event had about 200 attendees. On that day, the speaker spoke about books I and II of the recent Social Jurisdiction Law, which has just come into force and which modifies substantial aspects of judicial procedures in the field of labor and Social Security, expanding the powers of the Social Courts.
