THE WEB PORTALS OF Fraternidad-Muprespa AMONG THE 10 BEST HEALTH RESOURCES IN SPAIN
The “Web Ranking of World Hospitals” carried out annually by the Cybermetrics Laboratory of the CSIC (Higher Center for Scientific Research) places the Fraternidad-Muprespa Web portals in the 10th position in Spain, 126th in Europe and 503rd worldwide, out of a total of 17,261 portals analyzed.
He ranking, carried out by this national research center attached to the Ministry of Education, is based on web indicators that reflect the global activity of the institutions, not only taking into account formal communication (electronic journals, repositories, etc.), but also informal communication. To achieve this, aspects such as the amount of information, its visibility and accessibility, the publication of downloadable documentation and the inclusion of academic domain citations are observed.

After the continuous effort of the last 5 years, the Fraternidad-Muprespa Web portals appeared for the first time in the previous study in 2011. And far from being neglected, they have renewed and consolidated their position, among the 10 best health resources, in this latest study in 2012.
In order to maintain this privileged position, among the most relevant medical institutions in the country, throughout 2012 we have been preparing improvements and new functionalities that we will launch during 2013.
The constant commitment that at Fratenidad-Muprespa we have been making for more than 10 years on technology and information systems today places us publicly at the forefront of business technology.The work carried out on our Web portals, which place them as the best resources on the Internet of all the Spanish occupational accident insurance companies., is nothing more than the tip of the iceberg of the best information systems in the sector. Initiatives such as the Patient Portal, in which every mutual benefit member served can download and view their electronic medical record; the eNotifications, who via instant email send the company information about the processes and procedures of their injured parties; or the SMS alerts for medical visits or carrying out procedures, are the best demonstration that our efforts are focused on providing the best service to our mutual members.
