SCULPTURE Escolástico Zaldívar

In celebration of the Ordinary General Meeting of the Mutua, for the first time the XPROTX Awardb02438f8XPROTX for the best project presented by our associated companies and which rewards the projection and implementation of actions aimed at guaranteeing the safety and health of workers with disabilities.

As a complement to the financial prize, it was decided to create a commemorative sculpture. Since the award was aimed at preventing the disabled in companies, the best way to relate it was for a person with different abilities to make the sculpture.

In this way we looked for foundations that were dedicated to promoting art and we found the DALMA Foundation, who has a project CONTODOARTE with several painters and a sculptor,Álvaro Moreno Mazarredo, our artist.

We proposed several topics and finally decided that creating the Mutua logo was the best option. And so the sculpture began, at first flat, then with volume, more rustic, etc.

It has been a great effort for him, but it is already part of the history of Fraternidad-Muprespa and we know that he is very proud to be so. And for us it is a satisfaction to see that the final result has been as expected.

We have had a perfect relationship, with every detail we asked of them, there was never a refusal on their part and they have made everything so easy for us that we have nothing but words of gratitude for both Álvaro, his sister, and the Director of the Foundation,Charo.
