Fraternidad-Muprespa AWARDS THE SECOND PRIZES 2804 FOR PREVENTION AND SAFETY

The Mutual Fraternidad-Muprespa, held yesterday, World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the event of the Second Edition of the 2804
To start the event, a round table was held with the title Companies and Mutual Funds: Good Practices, made by prominent members of AESPLA(Spanish Association of Occupational Prevention Services).
Subsequently, the Awards ceremony began with the greeting of the Managing Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa,Mr. Carlos Aranda giving the word to Mr. Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros, President of Fraternidad-Muprespa who has explained the importance of prevention for our companies and therefore the 2804 Escolástico Zaldívar awards, which have been widely accepted with 109 companies having submitted to this second call.
The Director of the ILO in Spain Mr. Joaquín Nieto has made a speech remembering the last workplace tragedy a year ago in the Plaza Rana building in Bangladesh with almost 1,000 deaths and that prevention must serve to avoid tragedies of this type.
Mr. Rafael Barberá, General Director of Social Security Regulation of the Ministry of Employment, has highlighted the important role of Workplace Accident Mutual Insurance Companies in Prevention, highlighting that in the future Mutual Insurance Law the powers in this field will be expanded.
To conclude the event, the 2804 Awards were presented in the following categories:
