THE MUTUAL Fraternidad-Muprespa HAS HELD AN INFORMATION DAY IN GIRONA ON THE MUTUAL LAW

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, held an information day on the new Mutual Insurance Law and the most relevant aspects of RD/625 on March 3 in Girona.

The day has been inaugurated by Ms. Mari Àngels Bautista, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Girona, welcoming all attendees and introducing the speakers.

Mr. Julio Santos Palacios, Director of Network Relations of Fraternidad-Muprespa, has made a presentation on the most notable points of Law 35/2014, its background, definition and object; the elimination of CIDA; the governing and participation bodies; reserves and surpluses; the responsibility of the directors of the mutual societies and associated companies; the cessation of activity of self-employed workers and the sale of Prevention Societies.

Mr. Fernando Mena Babiano, Deputy Director of the Department of Care Coordination and IT Control, has reported on the aspects of RD/625 and the Mutual Insurance Law, which most affect the management of absenteeism. Placing special emphasis on the advantages provided by this new regulatory framework.

Finally, a question period was generated among the attendees.

The day has been closed by Mr. Carlos Luis Saez de Juan, Territorial Director of the Northeast DT of the Mutua, who thanked all attendees for their presence on this day, which has generated great interest.
