Fraternidad-Muprespa HAS COLLABORATED WITH UGT-MADRID, IN A CONFERENCE ON TEMPORARY DISABILITY AND MUTUAL

On April 28, the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, has participated in a workshop organized by the UGT-Madrid in the Masercisa Assembly Hall, titled “Temporary and Mutual Disability”. The workshop has been developed, within the framework of the IV Master Plan on Occupational Risk Prevention 2013-2016 of the Community of Madrid, with co-financing from the European Social Fund. Around 200 attendees attended, with the purpose of commemorating the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

The event opened with a welcome table made up of Ms. Susana Huertas Moya, Secretary of Occupational Health and Territorial Development of UGT-Madrid,Ms. Marisa Rufino San José, Secretary of Occupational Health and Environment of UGT-Confederal and D. Carmelo Ruiz of the Beautiful Kingdom, Secretary General of UGT-Madrid.

After thanking the attendees and speakers for their presence, in this first roundtable we discussed current events in prevention, with a clear concern in the field of occupational disease, manifesting the need to establish a greater number of public policies and implementation of measures for this type of contingency. Furthermore, the need to transfer the new current regulations to workplaces has been raised, requiring compliance by employers with the laws and regulations on prevention.

Next, we moved to the second work table, composed of Ms. Natividad García Beltrán, moderator of the table, and Mr. Francisco Barroso Jadraque, Deputy Provincial Director of the Madrid Provincial Directorate of At its end, an interesting discussion took place.

The last table related to the Administrations and social response to the reform of Temporary Disability and Mutual Insurance, was made up of Ms. Mª Luz Trilla Suárez, from the Medical Inspection of the Community of Madrid and Mr. Sergio Álvarez Camino, Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention at the Secretariat of Occupational Health and Territorial Development of UGT-Madrid.

Finally, the table in charge of closing the event was given way, made up of Ms. Mar Alarcón Castellanos, General Director of Labor and Manager of the IRSS of the Community of Madrid, together with Mrs. Susana Huertas Moya, Secretary of Occupational Health and Territorial Development of UGT-Madrid.
