AGUAS DE ALBACETE RECEIVES THE BONUS DIPLOMA FROM Fraternidad-Muprespa

On June 2, the provincial management of Albacete of the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, has presented the diploma of recognition for the reduction of accidents and the implementation of preventive actions to the company Waters of Albacete, under the R.D. 404/2010.

The event was attended by the provincial director of Economy, Business and Employment,D. Nicolás Merino Azori, as well as D. Jesus Oliver Sanchez, head of Occupational Health and Safety services in the province of Albacete.

Waters of Albacete was represented at the event by D. José Belda Amores, company manager and D. José Manuel de Haro García, director of Training and People Development of the Suez Group.

Ms. Natalia Fernández Laviada, deputy general director of Prevention, Quality and Communication of Fraternidad-Muprespa, presented the diploma, together with Ms. Mª del Mar Morales González, director of the Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture,Ms. Ana Jaen Mediavilla, Prevention technician charged to provincial quotas and D. Eloy Ávila Lacalle, provincial director of Albacete de la Mutua.

The provincial directorate of Economy, Business and Employment, through its advisory programs, contributes to this reduction in accidents by contacting companies and energizing their preventive management systems. In the group of companies in Albacete, an increase of 4.4% has been registered in the number of accidents during work days. For its part, in the companies included in “Plan Reduce” in this province, there was a decrease of 23.8%.

The Prevention Services Regulation, in its Articles 1 and 2, determines the integration of preventive activity in the company through a Prevention Plan, a tool through which the company's preventive policy and commitments are established. The Prevention Plan is the documentary level that includes all the procedures, functions, responsibilities and organization in terms of the different technical processes, practices and organizational procedures in relation to the prevention of occupational risks. Proof of this integration is the performance of preventive activities such as those carried out by Waters of Albacete, to obtain the Bonus:

• OHSAS 18000 Certification, adapting to the most demanding prevention management assurance standard
• Incorporation into the Own Preventive Resources workforce, a fundamental tool in terms of integration.
