PREVENTION OF ADDICTIONS IN THE WORKPLACE: A HUMAN AND BUSINESS APPROACH

On December 1, the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security  Fraternidad-Muprespa, has participated in an information day organized by the  Confederation of Business Associations of Miranda de Ebro under the title: “Prevention of addictions in the workplace: a Human and business approach.”

The day was presented by the president of FAE Miranda de Ebro,  Nuria Navarro  who wanted to highlight that  “This is a joint project of FAE, the Caja Circulo and Ibercaja Foundations and the CCOO and UGT unions”.  

Next  Asuncion Rubio Horta director of the Prevention area  Carla Contreras Contreras,  psychologist of  Man Project, have explained the plan initiated in collaboration with the Federation of Employers and which deals with the prevention of addictions among workers and consists of an itinerary that ranges from awareness, assistance and return to work. This plan is aimed especially at SMEs.

After the presentation of the project,   Juan Gabriel Martínez Martín Doctor of Fraterprevention Labor of Burgos, has shared with the attendees the experience acquired in prevention services on the central topic of the day.

Subsequently, Almudena González Delgado, technical advisor at Fraternidad-Muprespa in Burgos, highlighted in her speech the role that mutual insurance companies play in this type of problem within the company.

After the presentations, an interesting debate was opened, in which the enormous concern of employers and workers about addictions in the work environment was confirmed.
