The 90th anniversary events of Fraternidad-Muprespa begin in Bilbao
La Mutua has today inaugurated this exhibition, organized in collaboration with Adif, which can be visited until February 8 at the Bilbao Abando Indalecio Prieto railway station.
Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security No. 275, inaugurated this Thursday, with the collaboration of Adif, an exhibition of prevention posters from the 20th century, within its project to disseminate preventive culture.
The exhibition is part of the events of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the Mutua, which is celebrated this 2019, which is why the exhibition visits the capital of Biscay, as a tribute to the city in which Escolásico Zaldívar founded the Mutua La Fraternidad.
Of a traveling nature, the exhibition promotes preventive culture and has already been seen in different Spanish airports, such as those in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Las Palmas, Málaga, Madrid and Palma de Mallorca, as well as in the Chamartín railway stations in Madrid, Córdoba, Zaragoza-Delicias, Valladolid Campo Grande and Logroño, within the framework of the Open Station Program Adif.
This Program is Adif's main instrument to materialize collaboration with the third sector, making available, free of charge, an excellent platform (every year more than 15 million people pass through Adif stations) to carry out activities that help them achieve their objectives, while the stations increase their value for citizens by providing them with cultural, social or environmental content.
The opening ceremony was attended by Carlos Aranda, managing director of meeting” and venue for numerous cultural events, and Tomás Fernando Ruiz, director of the General Treasury of Social Security of Vizcaya.
The exhibition brings together 48 reproductions of posters from the 20th century, which are part of the VECA & MUGO Collection, whose theme is safety at work, prevention and occupational health, and focuses on the evolution of these concepts during the last century.
During this anniversary year, Companies that have not reported any work accident or occupational disease for more than ten years will also be distinguished with the delivery of a badge. Likewise, various cultural and informative activities will be carried out, always within the legal framework established by the General Social Security Law and the Mutual Insurance Law.
