The DP of Madrid organizes a conference on "Occupational risk assessment during pregnancy"

On Thursday, April 11, the provincial management of Madrid has organized in the assembly hall of the new FM Habana Hospital, an information day entitled “Assessment of occupational risk during pregnancy”, in which the new features presented by the second edition of the “Guide to help for the assessment of occupational risk during pregnancy” have been summarized.

Carmen Rueda Hernández, provincial director of Madrid, was in charge of opening the event, welcoming the attendees, members of companies and consultancies in Madrid.

Next, the Dr. Javier Arredondo Zamora, Territorial Assistance Coordinator of Madrid, began the information session by talking about the legislative evolution surrounding the assessment of occupational risk during pregnancy, the protected situation, the beneficiaries and the requirements they must meet to receive the corresponding benefit. Subsequently, he explained the peculiarities of this benefit, the beginning and the end of it and, finally, he detailed how this second edition of the “Guide to help for the assessment of occupational risk during pregnancy” was born, edited by the National Institute of Social Security, as a result of the conclusions of the working group formed by medical inspectors from the INSS, physicians from the nineteen Mutual Collaborators with Social Security (AMAT members), as well as specialists in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the SEGO.

Javier Abad Marzoa___, territorial coordinator of Madrid Benefits Fraternidad-Muprespa, ha intervenido brevemente explicando con detalle los pasos a seguir para la tramitación de la prestación, y los formularios necesarios tanto para trabajadoras por cuenta ajena como para las trabajadoras autónomas.

To conclude, Eva Martín Peñalver, Deputy Provincial Director of Madrid of Fraternidad-Muprespa, expressed her gratitude to all attendees for attending the event.
