The Mutual Defender of Fraternidad-Muprespa in a legal conference on the work accident

CCOO of Andalusia organized legal conferences this week under the title 'Work accidents and occupational diseases in labor and judicial practice'. The objective was to analyze all aspects of occupational health.

The sessions were attended by representatives of the judiciary, the prosecutor's office, the labor inspection, the university, the Ministry of Health, various departments of the union and also the Mutual Insurance Companies that collaborate with Social Security.

On behalf of Fraternidad-Muprespa, Marta Carabanchel attended the meeting, which focused on Contingency Determination. Her experience as a lawyer in the mutual insurance sector and Mutual Member Ombudsman allowed for a very didactic presentation highlighting cases based on art. 156.2f of the consolidated text of the General Social Security Law, which qualifies as a work accident the illnesses or defects previously suffered by the worker, which are aggravated as a consequence of the injury constituting the accident, documented in practical cases that aroused great interest among the attending public.
