The Provincial address of Fraternidad-Muprespa reopens in Barcelona after the conditioning works

The renovated Provincial address, located at Plaza de Tetuán 36-41, has a modern and accessible space of 1,580 square meters that offers better service to mutual members.  In addition to the commitment to energy efficiency, the center's renovation has other aspects that improve the user experience, such as the high-efficiency LED lighting system, lighting control and presence detectors.After improvement works that lasted two years, the center now has an A energy rating and its design represents a saving in energy demand of 57.2%

Its air conditioning, Wi-Fi networks, multimedia screens in waiting rooms or patient ticket dispensers, as well as screen systems for consultation shifts, mean a better experience for the user.

The space, which offers a significant improvement in the service offered to mutual members, is distributed in:

• 9 medical consultations
• 1 238 m² physiotherapy room, with three individual boxes and hydrotherapy area
• 2 changing rooms adapted for women and men
• 2 treatment and plaster rooms
• 1 diagnostic imaging room with digital radiology
• 3 differentiated admission areas
• 1 large administrative area
• 2 waiting rooms
• 1 training room
• 2 meeting rooms

The rehabilitation area is another example that shows improvement, since the increase in this space facilitates access to specialized treatments, which translates into a more effective recovery for patients.

Likewise, it also improves attention to the needs of people with disabilities, given that the reform has been designed with an inclusive approach, ensuring the accessibility of spaces and attention adapted to the specific needs of each user.

A new training room, equipped with advanced technology, will allow the continuous updating of professionals and will offer workshops and courses for mutual members, thus promoting prevention and self-care.

Its opening hours are from eight in the morning to eight in the afternoon, and it has good communication through public transport, both train, metro and buses, both urban and interurban.

In addition to with this center, which opened its doors in 1975 and is therefore close to celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Mutua has three more delegations in the province: L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Ripollet and Tordera.  

The Provincial management of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Barcelona covers more than 5,000 mutual companies and provides assistance to a working population of more than 97,500 people, of which 8,500 are self-employed.
