Seeking to bring and encourage healthy habits in children from their earliest years, two professionals from Fraternidad-Muprespa went last Tuesday to the Amor de Dios school, in the Madrid town of Alcorcón. This is Dr. Gloria Fernández and the D.U.E./A.T.S. Victor Manuel Hernández, both belonging to the Móstoles de la Mutua delegation. With the help of “Fraternito” they gave a fun and educational session to first grade children. This is the second edition of this event, which was held for the first time in 2018 with a very positive evaluation by the Fraternidad-Muprespa professionals, the team and management of the center and, of course, the children.

The lucky recipients of this fun talk had the opportunity, through games, to learn very important habits and customs in their daily lives, such as getting enough sleep and rest, showering frequently, washing their hands before eating and after going to the bathroom, brushing their teeth, eating well and with a varied diet, drinking enough water, incorporating correct postural hygiene, playing, being kind and spending time with family and friends. At the end of the talk, the children had the opportunity to become familiar with instruments that help doctors know our state of health such as stethoscopes, pulse oximeters and a dynamometer.
