Conference on AI and HR with the presence of Manuel Porrúa
Dir&Ge Executive Network recently held the meeting, promoted by SAP,“AI in HR: redefining the selection, retention and development of people”, on the impact of new technologies on talent management.
Various managers analyzed how, in the current environment, Human Resources departments face the need to develop strategies in the long and medium term, given the challenges currently facing the labor market, in which, given the increasing competition, it seems necessary to rethink the approaches to select, retain and develop talent, as key elements to achieve the company's objectives.
Key challenges include preserving human focus, ensuring data quality, and preparing teams to maximize their potential.
Manuel Porrúa, director of the Center for Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility of Fraternidad-Muprespa, raised a key reflection: “How should we address talent loyalty in positions that AI will transform or replace?” and assured that "despite the tendency to optimize costs, talent management managers must focus on empowering people, using AI as a tool that boosts skills and performance, without compromising critical thinking."
Also participating in the day were Adriana Chisco, HR director Iberia & Greece at Rentokil;Teresa Castano, HR Transformation Advisor In EMEA South at SAP;Orestes Wensell, Managing Director of Talent Solutions at Manpower;Ernesto Rincon, Head of Business AI Southern Europe at SAP;José Luis Martínez, Head of People at CEU;Emilio Herranz, HR Director of Mantequería Arias;Raul Telenti, Corporate Director of Organization and People Management at Urbaser;Sergio Sanchez, Director of Training and Knowledge Management at Mapfre and Francisco Marcos, Human Resources Director of Arriva Spain.
