Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in Jaén in the conference on technological transformation in PRL
The Department of Employment, Business and Self-Employment of Jaén, through the Occupational Risk Prevention Center (CPRL) of the province, organized the technical day “Technology transformation: can digital enablers help create safer jobs?”, which included representatives of the Junta de Andalucía, Quirón Prevention, and on behalf of Fraternidad-Muprespa, its provincial director, Ángel Gilabert, and Javier Sánchez, technical consultant of the Department of Prevention and Health Culture.
They inaugurated the day Juan Pedro Castillo director of the CPRL, Ana Belén Mata, Territorial delegate of Employment, Business and Work, Angel Gilabert, provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa, and Tomas Merino, provincial director of Quirón Prevention.
This is an event that is part of the set of Training and Information actions that the Ministry develops with the aim of promoting safer, healthier and more sustainable work environments, especially in contexts of accelerated technological change.
Ángel Gilabert thanked the Ministry and the CPRL for their invitation to an event in which it is "an honor and a privilege to participate. To the extent that those of us who deal with occupational risk prevention are able to collaborate together, we will be stronger and more successful in achieving better conditions in the workplace, which is the objective," he assured, also analyzing both the opportunities, investments, and challenges that these technologies pose for companies, workers and public administrations.
Javier Sánchez, Mutua's senior ORP technical consultant, especially captured the public's attention by offering his expert vision on the opportunities and transformation that technology presents, for preventive management and the development of a more solid safety culture in organizations.
Sánchez addressed the impact of digital transformation in the world of work, focusing on how digital enablers, such as artificial intelligence, automation, sensorization, collaborative robotics or the Internet of Things (IoT), can contribute to improving occupational health and safety, reducing risks and favoring more controlled and efficient environments.
Alejandro Ramos Head of Product and Business Development at Quirón Prevention, presented cases of good practices and examples of how digitalization has had a positive impact on reducing workplace accidents and improving well-being at work.
Finally, Javier Manuel García Zafra, responsible for the Training, Information and Statistics Area of the CPRL, moderated the final colloquium talk, collecting questions from the attendees to the speakers.
