Inaugurated in Malaga the exhibition 'I+P. Innovating in Prevention'
The delegate of the Andalusian Government in Malaga, Patricia Navarro, iThe exhibition 'I+P. Innovating in Prevention', an exhibition promoted by Fraternidad-Muprespa, AXA Foundation and the Junta de Andalucía, through the Andalusian Institute of Occupational Risks. Until now, the exhibition has been able to be visited at the Granada Science Park, where it is leaving for the first time to raise awareness about occupational risk prevention in Malaga.
Through a tour of 17 modules, the history of prevention is exhibited, from simple mechanics to complex innovations based on the Internet of Things, including satellite and space intervention.
Navarro defended the unity of institutions, professionals and companies to continue advancing in the prevention of occupational risks, and assured that the Junta de Andalucía takes on the prevention of new risks derived from digitalization and new forms of work organization as a challenge.
Javier Tena y Sonia Medrano, Southern territorial directors of AXA and Fraternidad-Muprespa, respectively, spoke next. Medrano made reference to public-private collaboration, highlighting that "Working as a team is the key to achieving better results and the 'I+P Innovating in Prevention' exhibition represents a great example of this.". "With this activity we will help raise awareness among society as a whole, hoping to achieve the final objective of reducing workplace accidents, which unfortunately continue to offer unacceptable figures in our country."he stated.
For his part, Javier Tena highlighted that the culture of prevention is about "incorporate certain routines into our daily lives that help avoid injuries, illnesses, or even death". ""This exhibition shows citizens what small actions we can take to protect ourselves both at work and at home, because any space or circumstance could be potentially dangerous.", he expressed.
Attendees were able to enjoy a guided tour of Antonio José Millán, director of the AXA Chair of Prevention and coordinator of the exhibition, which can be visited until December 12.
