Labor relations and the impact of absenteeism, axes of a day of AMAT and the Social Graduates
On the morning of Monday, June 2, the Madrid headquarters of the CEOE hosted the day organized jointly by the General Council of Social Graduates of Spain and AMAT, Association of Mutual Insurance Companies Collaborating with Social Security, with which they commemorate their work at the service of workers and companies, coinciding with the Centenary of Social Graduates and the 125th anniversary of the Mutual Insurance Companies.
The inauguration was carried out by Rosa Santos, director of Employment, Diversity and Social Protection of the CEOE, Joaquin Merchan, president of the General Council of Social Graduates of Spain, and Jaime Aguirre de Cárcer, vice president of AMAT.
The first table was led by Antonio Salas, director of Economic Benefits of the latter, and Marcos Oscar Martínez, 2nd vice president of the General Council of Social Graduates of Spain (CGCOGSE). Under the title "Current situation of collaboration in the management of Social Security benefits by Mutual Insurance Companies" they presented the shared task that social and mutual insurance graduates assume, thanks to their management capacity among workers, employers and administration.
Next, in the table "The incidence of work absenteeism in Labor Relations", the indicators of work absenteeism and the problems of managing temporary disability processes due to common contingency were analyzed, whose speakers were Juan Miguel Mesa, coordinator of Absenteeism Management at Mutua, on behalf of AMAT, and Anabel Fernandez, CEO AfforHealth, who explained that "organizations that invest in psychosocial management manage to reduce the incidence and average duration of common mental disorders. Intervening in health promotion prevents casualties."
The last exhibition brought together Monica Soria, director of the Mutua Operations Area (AMAT) and Leonardo Olivares, president of the Official College of Social Graduates of León, in which they reported on the forms of communication of both sectors with the Social Security Administration, focusing on the use of electronic instruments, describing the language used and offering details on compliance with deadlines in the exhibition "Labor Consulting in the digital environment."
At the closing, once again Joaquín Merchán and Jaime Aguirre de Cárcer opted to build bridges between their institutions "so that everything works better because it benefits citizens."
The meeting was attended by numerous representatives of the Permanent Commission and presidents of Social Graduate Colleges, as well as management personnel from the different mutual insurance companies that make up AMAT.
