The business situation due to COVID-19 is the focus of the meeting of Fraternidad-Muprespa and the ORP Foundation
Natalia Fdez. Laviada, deputy director of Prevention, Quality and Communication at Fraternidad-Muprespa, starred this Wednesday in the ORP International Foundation interview, within the meeting cycle that the entity is carrying out periodically.
The meeting dealt with various issues that affect the business world in general and also the special situation that we are experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic and which has forced us to adopt new measures in the social and labor sphere.
Fdez.
He also described all the tools that Fraternidad-Muprespa makes available to its mutual companies and protected workers to achieve this implementation, such as the Walking towards Well-being itinerary, included within the Health Corner, or the promotion of companies' adhesion to the international Vision Zero campaign.
He also recalled the importance, in these times of confinement and uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, of studying psychosocial measures in the workplace and also for those who work from home. All this content related to health, well-being and the prevention of occupational risks is collected on the Previene website, on the Fraternidad.com portal.
"Mutuas are concerned about absenteeism from work. Although three out of four workers consider that their health is good or very good, then there is more absenteeism than desired, and for an employee to miss their job, when available, is always bad for the company, that is why we must direct our efforts to ensure that companies are healthy and that workers adopt that way of life as well. At Fraternidad-Muprespa we do it through advice such as those collected in the more than 300 content related to these topics on our web portal.”
The ORP foundation has become an important meeting point in the field of prevention at a national and international level, in addition to having created spaces for debate on the most recent advances in technical aspects and also in the comprehensive management of people's well-being.
Asked how this extraordinary situation that society is experiencing will affect companies, Natalia Fdez.
