Mora highlighted the importance of paying attention to the first symptoms of this ailment, very common especially in office workers and in those jobs that require gaining weight, to prevent it from becoming chronic.

He also recommended going to the company's prevention department as soon as possible, so that no damage occurs to the nerve. He also explained the importance of incorporating warm-up and stretching exercises in the area as a daily routine.

“It is a pathology that has different treatments. Surgery is simple and decisive, but only in certain cases. And before getting there, there is rehabilitation. Wristbands are useful but it is better not to make indiscriminate use of them,” the doctor explained during your intervention.

When the worker returns to his or her job, the tasks he performs must be reviewed to avoid relapse, in addition to continuing with the stretching. “The muscular structure is very vascularized, so the muscles and tendons are quickly activated,” concluded the specialist, who stressed the primary importance of taking protocolized breaks to avoid fatigue in the joints, paying attention to the information and recommendations provided by the prevention departments, and finally, that “workers not be afraid to go for check-ups and go to the doctor to monitor their health.”
