Fraternidad-Muprespa and its commitment to a sustainable future on World SDG Day
Fraternidad-Muprespa, for 14 years, has been acting in a conscious and structured manner in favor of a more just, equitable and sustainable future, in collaboration with all its stakeholders and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Mutua reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development, consolidated through its Third Social Responsibility Plan and aligned with the principles of the UN Global Compact. On the occasion of the World Day of Action for the SDGs, take advantage of the occasion to give visibility to the actions it carries out in this regard, which seek a more sustainable, fair and inclusive future, and which actively contribute to the fulfillment of the SDGs most relevant to the entity's mission.
Since the accession of Fraternidad-Muprespa to the Global Compact in 2010, has oriented its policies towards the achievement of global objectives, always with responsibility and transparency.
The III Social Responsibility Plan (2024-2027) integrates the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda, highlighting 11 that, due to their relationship with the Mutua's own activity, allow for a greater positive impact on society and the environment. These SDGs are structured in the so-called "SDG circle of influence", with different levels:
Center of maximum influence, with SDG 3, directly related to the main activity: health and well-being.
First crown, where the SDGs are more linked to the work entrusted to mutual societies and which favor a more direct impact.
Second crown, with SDGs further removed from direct performance but that support the previous ones.
Alliance level, transversal to all the SDGs, which facilitates the fulfillment of the others.
The contribution to SDG 3, "Health and well-being", stands out, aligned with the mission of “restoring the health of protected workers and providing economic benefits with the best care and guarantee.” To this end, the Mutual Fund implements improvements in the quality of care, betting on innovation in health processes and promoting preventive campaigns such as Road Safety Week and monitoring the mental health of employees.
SDG 8, "Decent work and economic growth", promotes decent work and work-life balance, highlighting the Teleworking Framework Agreement and the renewal of certifications such as ISO 9001,ISO 10002:2018 and I SW/IEC 27001, along with occupational risk prevention measures.
Fraternidad-Muprespa also advances in SDG 13, "Climate Action", obtaining the I Calculate+Reduce+Compensate Carbon Footprint seal, the certification ISO 14001 and applying energy efficiency measures in the facilities.
The organization's management is based on criteria of ethics, efficiency and sustainability, in line with SDG 16, "Transparency and good governance."
