ENTRY INTO FORCE OF LAWS 39 AND 40 ON PROCEDURES AND LEGAL REGIME OF THE PUBLIC SECTOR

Fraternidad-Muprespa Mutua Collaboradora con la Seguridad Social reminds you that on October 2, the following laws came into force:

• Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
• Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector.

These are presented as pillars on which Spanish administrative law is based.

They propose to overcome the deficiencies that have traditionally been attributed to the Spanish administrations, with overly complex administrative procedures that, on occasions, have generated problems of legal uncertainty.

Among other novelties, it is worth highlighting that Saturdays are no longer business days for administrative purposes and the importance that the relationship with administrations acquires, through electronic media.

Law 30/1992 of November 26, on the Legal Regime of Public Administrations and the Common Administrative Procedure, among others, are repealed.
