Fraternidad-Muprespa HAS INSTEAD HELD A DAY ON MILD PSYCHIATRIC PATHOLOGY IN THE WORKING WORLD

Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, held a conference on “Mild Psychiatric Pathology in the workplace” on October 3 in Lugo, in collaboration with the Galician Health Service (SERGAS) and the Santo Domingo Clinic.

After the intervention of different speakers, among whom primary care doctors were represented; inspection of the public health service; specialists linked to this pathology (psychologist and psychiatrist); as well as the sector of the Mutual Insurance Companies collaborating with Social Security, the Dr. Fernando Mena Babiano, deputy director of the Center for Care Coordination and IT Control of the Mutua, who has proposed the treatment of this pathology from the point of view of the management of temporary disability due to common contingencies in Spain.

To finish, there was an intense debate between the speakers and the audience, which reflected the daily complexity in which the different professionals who have to deal with this problem find themselves. Furthermore, the need to improve communication and cooperation channels between the different agents involved has been raised.
