Fraternidad-Muprespa grants more than €1,300,000 in social aid

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security  Fraternidad-Muprespa, has granted a total of  866 social aid, for an amount of  1.308.149 € through its Special Benefits Commission. The financial amount of the previous year has thus been doubled, responding to 250% more requests than in 2015.

Notable for their amount are 91 home aids, 242 for companion expenses, 126 study aids, 55 for technical aids in the home, 30 for adaptation of the same, and so on up to 866 for a wide variety of circumstances.

This is the result of the purpose of our Entity: to disseminate and promote the granting of this type of aid.

These are granted through the Special Benefits Commission, a joint participation body, which, in order to alleviate specific situations, provides aid to workers who have suffered an accident at work or an occupational disease and which ranges from technical aid, adaptation of homes or vehicles, home assistance or a wide catalog of situations. It pays special interest to cases of disability as well as aid to family members or similar persons of workers who are in a situation of special need and lack the means to cope.

The aid is granted from the social assistance reserve, which was established by the Mutual Insurance Law, and which is provided with 10% of the annual surpluses obtained by the Entity, after the provision of the legal reserves.

They also complement the benefits guaranteed by the Social Security system.
