He Royal Decree-Law 16/2025, published in the BOE on December 24, 2025, establishes that as of  January 1, 2026 will be applied  new Premium Rate for Social Security contributions  work accidents and occupational diseases. This update is directly linked to the entry into force of the CNAE-2025, according to  Royal Decree 10/2025, January 14, published on January 15, 2025,  for which it is approved the National Classification of Economic Activities 2025 (CNAE-2025) and  which replaces the CNAE-2009 and which obliges all companies and self-employed workers to communicate their new activity code to the General Treasury of Social Security.
