The event was presented by José Ignacio Díaz Lucas, Northern Territorial Director of Mutua, Josep Alfonso Caro, general director of AXA Foundation, an entity that collaborates in the exhibition, and the advisor of Economic and Business Development of the Foral Government of Navarra, Mikel Irujo. Also attending the meeting were Socorro García, Provincial Director of the Mutua in Navarra, Carlos Miguel Vivanco, territorial director of the Labor and Social Security Inspection in Navarra, and Mercedes Langarica, manager of the Graduate College Social of Navarra, among other guests.

Irujo, responsible for closing the event, described the situation of occupational accidents in the Foral community: "Our objective is to reduce as much as possible the excessively high rate of occupational accidents that we have in Navarra. We do this together with three departments, Health, Social Services and Economic Development, through its Occupational Health commission. It was also dealt with extensively in the Employment Plan of Navarra approved last year with specific lines in which all agents cooperate,” he added.

Natalia Fdez. “The exhibition,” he added, “allows us to visualize the evolution of occupational risk prevention and its didactic nature in a time of great illiteracy,” hence the importance of these posters to show workers how to protect themselves.

Josep Alfonso Caro highlighted that the prevention of occupational risks is a fundamental aspect for everyone, but it is “the reason for being of an insurer.” "Much progress has been made but much remains to be done because in 2021 there have been more than 700 deaths in the workplace. Without a doubt the exhibition has historical and artistic value, but above all, it should invite us to reflect," he concluded.

Antonio José Millán, director of the AXA Chair of Prevention, was subsequently responsible for taking a guided tour of these posters to review the history of occupational risk prevention in Spain during the last century.

This is the exhibition of Prevention Posters of the 20th century

The exhibition has accumulated 40 locations in 26 provinces and has traveled 30,000 kilometers, reaching an audience of about ten million people.Belonging to the La Retrografia collection and focused on the theme of safety at work, prevention and health labor, each poster that is part of the exhibition, makes a free audio guide available to the visitor using a QR code, to better understand each work and contextualize the exhibition.
