Fraternidad-Muprespa supports the COP25 Chile-Madrid 2019

Fraternidad-Muprespa joins the fight against climate change, actively participating in COP25. The Conference of the Parties (COP) is the supreme decision-making body of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

COP25 takes place between December 2 and 13 in Madrid and will serve as a mechanism for the attending countries to finalize the development regulations of the Paris Agreement, conceived as the first binding global pact in defense of the planet's climate, which must be fully in force in January 2020.

The implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will also be addressed.

The convention will bring together thousands of scientists, business people, institutional representatives, non-governmental organizations and governments from around the world.

A total of 25,000 people will participate in two adjacent spaces that IFEMA will offer, one for official meetings and negotiations of the countries and another for parallel events, such as presentation of scientific reports or NGO events.
