Fraternidad-Muprespa has held a new edition of “Meetings with the Mutua”, the training space in webinar format designed to offer companies and consultancies a clear and practical vision of the main procedures and services of the entity, which was carried out, on this occasion, by Alberto Juara, Head of the Business Applications and Digital Office Area at the Mutua Information Systems Center.

Silvia Vela, director of Communication and Institutional Relations of the Mutua, introduced the speaker and introduced the central topic of the webinar, which was attended by half a thousand professionals.

Juara delved into the management of direct payment and delegated payment through the Fraternidad-Muprespa Digital Office, a key tool to streamline procedures, improve communication with the Mutual Fund and reduce administrative incidents.

During the session, how to access the platform was explained, either through NIF and password or through digital certificates, as well as the process to request a new user.

From there, the webinar focused on direct payment services, describing step by step how to process a request for temporary disability benefit for both self-employed and employed workers.

Juara showed the complete journey of the digital form, from the review of personal data to the final signature via SMS code, highlighting that the application guides the user and only allows progress when all mandatory fields are completed. The options for consulting benefits, downloading receipts, sending additional documentation and requesting a change of bank account while the benefit is in force were also addressed.

Key support for companies and consultancies

Another important part of the webinar was dedicated to services related to delegated payment, explaining how to consult authorized deductions, review amounts by CCC (contribution account code), generate reports and report incidents when there are discrepancies between the company's data and those of the Mutual Fund.

The procedure for managing incidents of IT deductions, reviewing their origin, sending allegations and attaching supporting documentation was also detailed, as well as access to the history of claims notified to the General Treasury of Social Security.

Likewise, Alberto Juara recalled that the Digital Office centralizes all notifications through your personal mailbox, where you receive notices about deductions, incidents, resolutions and digital copies of postal notifications, with the possibility of activating or deactivating the alert.

And he explained that the Digital Office has a new service so that companies and consultancies can consult occupational disease processes whose data are pending communication.

At the end of his presentation, the speaker answered some questions from the attendees, including one directly related to said new functionality. Thus, in keeping with good practice in terms of data protection, the ePEP service notification emails do not include the worker's name, surname, NIF and NAF data. Instead, the email includes a link to consult the worker's information in the Digital Office and communicate from the platform itself.

The webinar concluded by reaffirming Fraternidad-Muprespa's commitment to quality of service and closeness to its users.

For her part, Silvia Vela said goodbye to the meeting by announcing that the next webinar “Meetings with the Mutua” will take place on March 12 and will feature Jose Alejos, lawyer from the Fraternidad-Muprespa Legal Services and Advisory Center who will talk about the “Construction of the procedural legal relationship in Social Security procedures.”
