From there I go on to explain the importance of leadership, key to achieving a healthy corporate culture. “Leadership, one of the so-called ‘soft skills’, is essential for any organization since it plays a key role in its success and performance,” he said.
As explained, “an effective leader must be able to inspire and motivate his team to work hard toward a shared vision, communicating clearly, listening to his team and making important decisions in difficult situations,” he concluded.
“The first thing that is lost in toxic corporate cultures is trust, a concept that, together with reputation, is the cornerstone of profit in companies that are driven by purposes such as meaningful work, sustainability, competitiveness and healthy leadership,” stated.
Iván Fernández, for his part, focused on the health care of people who work in the area of occupational risk prevention and who “normally find themselves alone in organizations, dealing between management and production,” he assured. As he explained, there are few studies that analyze the situation of the worker in these areas "since he himself would have to monitor his working conditions, something very complex to carry out in real settings."
He also stated that in a production system in which technologies have burst in abruptly, professions related to the prevention of occupational risks can be one of the most affected by techno-stress, since it is a job with high technological demands in the areas of training, risk assessment or the coordination of business activities and in which Technological changes and updates are extremely frequent.
